Rotary Club of Liechtenstein in District D2000, Liechtenstein. Chartered in 1957 with 58 members who meet every Tuesday at 12.15 in Hotel Gasthof Lowen. President is Adrian Hasler.
 
ROTARY CLUB BUSINESS

  • Confirmed Aveo Carisfield visit Wednesday June 14 2023 with 15 members.
TREASURER: (Len)
  • 88% of members have paid for changeover dinner.
  • Waiting on figure from RI re Subs for next year

  • 17 June DIK cancelled due to lack of numbers

YOUTH : (Robyn)
  • Club interviews were held Tuesday June 13th at 17:15 with Abbey and her parents joining us for tonights meeting.
  • One & All Sail Challenge arrival to Port Adelaide from Melbourne where 3 students stayed at the DeGaris’ home on 8 July.
FUNDRAISING: (Gary)
  • Have made 6 Eyre Bee n Bee hotel kits ready for members to put together and paint/lacquer etc. with BYO drinks and BBQ will be provided.
  • 3 July – Bunnings BBQ
  • Refer folder re NRM Fun Fair 4 days.
ENVIRONMENT: (Alison’s)
  • Blankets ready from North East Dry Cleaners, which Brenda will collect and to advise sorting date and distribute.
  • 15 July Monarto Zoo fence painting –invited Murray Bridge and Mobilong. Sandra from Mobilong has agreed to assist.
GUEST SPEAKER/ACTIVITY: (Brenda in Neil’s absence)
  • 20 June – Hon David Speirs MP, Leader of the Opposition – how RC can use their influence to gain money from the Government.
  • 27 June – Changeover Dinner
 
OTHER BUSINESS:
  • Scott attended meeting via zoom the Rotary Says No To Domestic Violence program and Rotary should get involved. More information to come.
  • 23 June - CHATS fundraising event sleeping out in cars overnight at Harts Mill to raise funds and awareness for those doing it tough. To donate https://chats-in-cars.raisely.com/scott-anderson

“Expressions of Interest” – Group Friendship Exchange (GFE) - south east India.

District 9510 has received an invitation to establish a GFE to District 3000 in South East India.

We are calling for “Expressions of Interest” from Rotary members in District 9510 to undertake a Friendship Exchange of up to 8 persons for 10 days.

Please pass on this email to your club members or include a notice in your club newsletter, Website or Facebook.

We are looking for responses / Initial interest or enquiries by 30 June 2023.
