OTHER BUSINESS:
Club visits or notices from visiting Rotarians
RC West Torrens would like some assistance.
Did anyone from West Lakes Rotary Club have an interest in traffic marshaling at the Bay-to-Birdwood this year?
It's on October 20th.
Training and briefing is at 6.30pm at West Adelaide Football Club, 57 Milner road, Richmond on Tuesday 8th October.
Please let Rosey Olbrycht know asap (0408 811 845)
The Club had loosely discussed the thought of getting a shade cloth installed over the playground. We would need Council assistance.
A couple of wandering members noticed that installation works are in progress! Not sure how this has happened, but ours is not to reason why...
Jean is collating a list of those who would like pavers (inscribed with names) to be installed. We have to have a reasonable number (20-30) to make it cost effective. Please let Jean know.
One of the great things in Rotary are the fellowships, in Australia we have a golfing fellowship which runs an event each year somewhere in Australia.
Next year from 6th-11th April 2025 we will be holding our event at the South Lakes Golf Club at Goolwa, SA. This is four days of golf for the Rotarians, four or three days of golf for the partners and visitors, plus organised tours for the partners who do not play golf.
Attached is a brochure which tells you a little about the event, it would be appreciated if you could forward this email to any golfers in your club. Also if members would like to find out more about the fellowship they can go to www.agfr.org
On the brochure there is a link to the Rotary Club of Adelaide website where Rotarians can register for the event.
Thank you for reading this email and letting your club know about the golfing fellowship.
