This Meeting was the Melbourne Cup @ Carousel
About 50 brave punters (well, members and friends) battled the wind and rain to have a fun night.
Fascinators stayed in place, however we did postpone the "best dressed" parade:(
The BBQ trailer was relatively sheltered from the elements, enabling our talented cooks to cook the steaks and snags. Well complimented by salads, rolls, and even a trifle for dessert!

Four "races" were run, with names of past Cup winners attached to the horses. First past the finishing post was declared the winner by chief steward and race caller Ros.
